Like many people who are new to politics, it is the future that his children face that motivates him to run for office.
In 2015, Robert was an active participant in the State Wide Study Commission sessions that received input on Educational Standards in New Jersey. His involvement through the use of social media helped to define and correct testing abnormalities throughout the state. Robert has fought to encourage education policies that fosters the love of learning for every child in New Jersey. In 2016, he was appointed the NJ Chapter President for the US Parents Involved in Education, a nationally recognized coalition of parents pursuing the betterment of education for children.

The Quinn family resided in Melville Long Island, NY from 1981-1987 where Robert attended St. Hugh of Lincoln Elementary school. Throughout both his public and private leadership roles, Robert has a proven track record of bridging differences. It is important to elect leaders that understand the consequences of their votes on all our citizens and are representative of the people not special interests.
Robert has the experience in project management and business to define inefficiencies in our County budget and determine processes that can be streamlined. Just doing these two things would help make Somerset County's government more effective.
